16th Annual Symposium

KENNESAW, GA (Mar 23, 2019) — The Center for the Study of the Civil War Era hosted its 16th Annual Symposium on March 23, 2019 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the KSU Center in Kennesaw, GA. This year’s theme was “The Railroad War: Transportation’s Critical Role in the Civil War” with presentations by the following: Dr. Brian Wills, Director of the Center for the Study of the Civil War Era; Dr. Gordon Jones, Senior Military Historian for the Atlanta History Center; and Thomas Parson, historian and writer.
